In line with our published Core Values, Spectrum Valuation Services is committed to the values and principles enshrined in the Second King Committee Report on Corporate Governance for South Africa published in 2002 (King II). The Directors of Spectrum Valuation Services are committed to ensuring good governance practices and to building an organisational culture of good governance, as outlined in King II.
Accordingly Spectrum has adopted the principles of the King II Code of Corporate Practices and Conduct, and the King II principles of Risk Management.
This commitment is underpinned by the involvement of Absa as Spectrum's major shareholders and our commitment to black economic empowerment and upliftment as evidenced through the involvement of Guma Capital (Pty) Ltd. as a 26% shareholder.
