Spectrum Valuation Services was formed when the Absa Valuations Division, after decades of providing an outstanding property valuation service, expanded to a point where it needed to become an independent entity to maximize efficiencies. Spectrum Valuation Services has prudently retained the best of Absa’s Valuations Division, including its core experienced and professional staff and its established client base. Absa holds a 48% shareholding in Spectrum, with the balance of ownership in the hands of the company’s senior staff (26%) and equity partner Guma Capital (Pty) Ltd (26%), a leading black-owned entrepreneurial business operations and investment company in Africa.
